Seth S. Frei (Ph.D, 2018, The University of Texas-Austin) studies organizational communication and the socialization process individuals go through in organizations. He focuses on individuals making mid-life career changes and the way they seek information during the change. Specifically, Seth is interested in training and how it can be used as an effective communication tool between the organization and the individual. This research is done primarily through quantitative methods, but also includes qualitative. Seth began teaching as an undergraduate at Bethel University in a research methods course and has since taught at Texas State University. In his free time, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife Brynn and their three children by traveling, watching college sports, and enjoying time with friends.
